Soltech Power Solutions carried out this installation at Sasthamcotta in Kollam district. The system is built around a tilted frame set above the terrace to hold the modules at a fixed angle.
A fixed tilt lets rain sheet straight off the glass through the monsoon, which keeps dust and leaf litter from building up along the lower edge.
A site survey and shadow check came first, then the structural design for the mounting, the supply of modules and balance of system, the fabrication and fixing on site, the DC and AC wiring with earthing and surge protection, and commissioning.
