Soltech Power Solutions carried out this installation at Ammannada in Kollam district. The system is built around a raised steel frame spanning the terrace, with the water tanks kept beneath the array.
Building over the tanks rather than around them recovered the full width of the roof, so the array could be sized to the roof instead of to the leftover space.
A site survey and shadow check came first, then the structural design for the mounting, the supply of modules and balance of system, the fabrication and fixing on site, the DC and AC wiring with earthing and surge protection, and commissioning. The same team handles after-sales service and maintenance across Trivandrum and Kollam.
