Soltech Power Solutions carried out this installation at Sasthamcotta in Kollam district. The system is built around an elevated frame carrying the array above an existing tiled pitched roof.
Spanning over the tiles means no fixings go through the roof covering, so the tiles are left intact and there is no new path for water to get in.
A site survey and shadow check came first, then the structural design for the mounting, the supply of modules and balance of system, the fabrication and fixing on site, the DC and AC wiring with earthing and surge protection, and commissioning. The same team handles after-sales service and maintenance across Trivandrum and Kollam.
